For members

You have something to give. You shouldn't need a CV to give it.

Maybe it's a skill from work, a language, a contact, or one free evening a month. Xhunt helps that reach the people who need it, on your terms, without a polished profile or a stream of requests.

Two women in conversation at a coffee shop in Lagos, Nigeria
Why join

Give a little. Get a lot more back than you expect.

People tell us they hold back because they don't know where to start, or worry about being chased once they say yes. Here's what's different.

Start with one sentence
“I can review grant applications, Tuesday evenings, in Lagos.” That is enough. The assistant drafts the rest, and you check every word before anything is saved.
Only what fits
Opportunities say how much time they need and for how long. Pick the ones that fit your life; ignore the rest without explanation.
Meet people you can trust
You are introduced by a steward or someone you answered, with a reason they wrote. Both of you say yes before names or emails are shared.
Learn as you go
Tell us what you want to learn as well as what you can offer. Some of the best work happens when both sides grow.
Your time, on record, for you
Keep a private log of the hours you give. Use it for your CV, your employer’s volunteering scheme, or just for yourself.
Leave whenever you like
Pause, take a break, or delete your account. Download everything we hold about you first if you want a copy.
Your first week

What happens after you sign up.

  1. 01

    Write one sentence

What you could offer, what you care about, and roughly where. No password: we email you a link and a code.

  2. 02

    Check your draft

Edit skills, causes and time. Every part starts as “Only me”; share each one only if you want to.

  3. 03

    Find or be found

Browse open opportunities, join a community you’re invited to, or wait for a steward to suggest an introduction.

  4. 04

    Say yes, or don’t

When both people agree, you can talk and start a workspace. Saying no is silent, and nobody is told.

Questions

What members usually ask.

Do I need to belong to a community?

No. Your profile works on its own. You can find opportunities that are open to everyone, and join a community later if you are invited or ask to join one.

Who can see my profile?

Nobody, until you choose. Each part of your profile has its own setting: only you, the stewards of your communities, members of your communities, or organisations you connect with.

Will I get lots of messages?

No. Nobody can message you until you have both said yes to an introduction. There is no public inbox and no cold outreach.

Does it cost anything?

No. Xhunt is free for members.

What does the AI do with my words?

It turns your sentence into a draft and can suggest clearer wording. Everything it writes is labelled and editable, it never introduces or ranks you, and you can switch it off.

Two minutes. One sentence. No pressure.

Nothing is shared until you say so, and you can stop at any step.
