Asks, offers and the community timeline
Ask for help or offer it in a community, post updates and events, and report a post that does not belong.

Asks and offers
In a community’s “Asks and offers” tab you can post that you need help or that you are offering it. A short title is enough. Posts are visible to members of that community only.
Other members can answer with a short note. You decide whether to connect, and nobody’s details are shared until you both say yes. You can close your own post at any time.
The timeline
Where the timeline is switched on, members can post updates, questions, events and links in the Activity tab. It also shows new asks, offers and opportunities. It never names who joined: joins are only counted.
Reporting a post
Choose to report the post.
Pick a reason: spam or advertising, harassment, off topic, misleading, shares private information, or something else.
Add a note if you want, and send.
The stewards take a look. The author is not told who reported it.
