Getting started
What Xhunt is
A consent-first network where people offer skills to the communities and organisations they belong to.
For: Members, Stewards, Organisations · Checked 27 October 2026
Xhunt helps people offer what they know to the communities and organisations they already belong to. You say in a sentence what you could help with. You decide who sees each part of your profile. Introductions happen only when both people say yes.
What it will never do
- Share your details without asking. Every profile field starts as “Only me”.
- Introduce people on its own. Only people introduce people, and both must agree.
- Rank or score anyone. There are no ratings, leaderboards or “best match” scores.
- Rewrite history. Consent decisions and audit entries can be read, not edited.
Who it is for
- Members, who offer help, answer asks and work together.
- Stewards, who run a community: they invite members, make introductions and post opportunities.
- Organisations, which run programmes and keep people involved after a cohort ends.

- Start with one sentence
Describe what you would like to contribute to. We draft your profile; nothing is saved or shared until you check it.
- Who can see your profile
Every field starts as “Only me”. You choose, field by field, who else sees it, and every change is recorded.
